Nightlights Dining

The first Friday of each month is Nightlights Dining night, a hosted meal in a local pub or restaurant for up to thirty single people over the age of 39.

These are meals in relaxed settings, with equal numbers of men and women where possible.

Payment in full is required at the time of booking, receipt of payment secures your place. Please read the terms and conditions on this page.

Restaurants often insist on payment for the full number of a pre-booked group, so please honour your reservation. If you find you cannot attend, we ask you give us at least 48 hours notice. If you do not give this notice we will have to pay the full cost of your meal. Thank you for your co-operation.

Terms and Conditions

Reserve a seat

Call the dining contact number on the leaflet, give your full name and a telephone number and your menu choice. Leave a message if necessary.

Only by using this contact number can you be certain that your interest has been recorded. The number can also be found on www.nightlights.org.uk/dining.

How to Pay

Write a cheque for the full amount payable to ‘Nightlights’,
Include your full name, a contact telephone number & menu choice.
Post to: 34 CANTELUPE ROAD, HASLINGFIELD, CB231LU.

First Come First Served

Bookings are ‘first come first served’.

Your place is not secured until payment is received.

We try to achieve equal numbers of men and women. If, when we receive your payment, all places have been allocated, we will put you on a reserve list.

Should places become available later, we will offer them in order of application.

Please be sure we have your telephone number.

Cancellation

If you cannot attend please give us at least 48 hours notice by calling the same dining contact number, so we can offer your place to someone else. We may be unable to refund your money if you give less than 48 hours notice.

Menus

Most meals are fixed price menus. We might ask you for your choice from a menu before the evening, either at the time of booking, or later by phone. Drinks and any other purchases are your responsibility. At the end of the evening we will make a collection for the waiting staff. This is at your discretion.
