About Nightlights

‘Nightlights’ hold regular social events for single people over the age of 39. We offer the chance for single people whether divorced, separated, widowed or just never married, to meet and share interests and make new friends.

‘Nightlights’ is run by volunteers and is non profit making.

We are not a dating agency and there is no membership fee, although we make a small entrance charge to cover the cost of running the meetings.

Meetings take place on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month, at The Red Lion, Grantchester, CB3 9NF and start at 8pm.

The dress code is smart casual.

We also organise monthly ‘Dining’ evening meals at local pubs and restaurants, on the 1st Friday of each month. Click on the ‘Dining’ button for details.

We don’t normally organise other events but we encourage guests to get together and arrange outside activities of their own.

Our socials have a party atmosphere, with music for dancing after 10pm. Occasionally we have a live music evening, a quiz, and barbeques in the summer. See the calendar for details.

When you come to ‘Nightlights’ our hosts will be there to welcome you and help you relax.
